Introducing our department.
College of Seokdang Honors was established in 2010 to foster human resources who will represent the local community and Korea based on the founding philosophy and educational philosophy of Dr. Jeong-Jae Hwan Seokdang, the founder of Dong-A University.
College of Seokdang honor's teacher said early on, "To acquire talented people under the heaven and to educate them is truly life. Based on the founder's founding philosophy, the Dong-a University College of Seokdang honors has trained and produced many talented individuals.
“College of Seokdang Honors“ is designed and operated as a college to nurture high-level human resources who will lead the future of Korea, with an educational program optimized for students preparing for the legal profession (judges, prosecutors, lawyers), civil service (administrative examinations and level 7-9 civil service), and financial and public corporations.
Educational Goals
The primary educational goal of the College of Seokdang Honors is to provide a gateway to university education and a platform function for fusion education so that local human resources can experience a variety of majors. Through lectures by professors capable of interdisciplinary study (interdisciplinary study), we practice interdisciplinary education within a single subject area. This enables students to cultivate diverse job skills. The curriculum actively reflects the direction of the Busan economy and the core contents of national policies for regional development. To develop logical reasoning and analytical reasoning skills in preparation for the Legal Education Eligibility Test.

- Operation of Study RoomsThere are a total of three reading rooms and 116 seats in the study room dedicated to the College of Seokdang Honors of Human Resources for student study.

Four studies (law school, Public Officer Qualification Exam and government employee, CPA and other certifications, and employment in financial and public corporations) are operated.Each Study is assigned a study room and a life-long supervisor professor. Senior students who have entered the field concerned first regularly visit to help them choose their career path. New students who have not yet decided on their own career path choose the path that suits them best by taking classes that integrate a variety of fields after entering the program.
