Introducing our department.

The Department of International Trade aims to nurture global human resources who can adapt to the rapidly changing international economic environment. To this end, the Department of International Trade focuses on education in international economics, international management, and trade practice (trade procedures and trade-related laws, etc.).

This will enable students to develop the ability to respond to changes in the international economy and the management environment of national goods, and to understand the principles of inter-country movement of goods and capital so that they can make the best decisions after entering the workforce.

Educational Goals

Cultivation of trade management personnel who embrace Busan and combine theory and practice for the world, and cultivation of international finance specialists with global capabilities.

    Hanuri (Korean Society for Social Research and Discussion)It is an academic society that allows people to freely share and discuss opinions on current issues that have become issues in society through regular gatherings, and to approach social current affairs without difficulty.

    Sky Open (Economic Newspaper Research Group)We promote learning about economics by researching and discussing the most current and controversial economic phenomena.

    B.E.S.C. (Trade Study Group)We run a study group where senior and junior members mentor and mentee each other for necessary studies such as TOEIC, trade English, logistics manager, and departmental studies.

    P.O.S. (Sports Society)We organize sports games and physical education activities, mainly to help new students adjust to school life and create memories of school.

    WB(World Best)This is a financial circle where students who have set their career paths in the financial sphere operate various activities such as qualification acquisition (support for study expenses), scrapping and discussion of economic newspapers, meeting with seniors in office, Busan Securities Union Circle activities, etc.

    Dong-A TradersThis is a trade establishment circle that provides an opportunity to develop general knowledge of trade and gain keynote experience in establishment through various activities such as BITLO, flea markets, etc.

    Logistics CircleThis is a job preparation circle mainly for 3rd and 4th year students. We plan to continue useful activities for students interested in logistics through qualification study sessions, special lectures on writing self-introductions, mock interviews, and other activities.

    No special aptitude is required. The mathematical part of the academic process is not very important, but the linguistic aspect is. It is also helpful to have an outgoing personality.

    The Department of International Trade runs 1) Trade Management and 2) Foreign Exchange Risk Management programs.
