Dept. of History
Introducing our department.
The Department of History at Dong-A University is composed of three major fields: Korean History, Eastern History, and Western History. The education in each field is structured as follows.
First, we promote a structural understanding of each era through learning the history of the times.
Second, we deepen our understanding of ideology, culture, and socioeconomic systems through research in each field.
Additionally, to support the aforementioned learning, students engage in scholarly studies of historical materials and documents. Furthermore, to practically apply the knowledge gained, they participate in cultural heritage research, field trips, and studies related to historical education.
Educational Goals
