Introducing our department.

To explore tourism management theories and management techniques for the tourism, hospitality and leisure industries, to protect and develop tourism resources and effectively manage tourism businesses, to understand various techniques for the healthy use of leisure time by the public and for attracting foreign tourists, and to develop professional talents needed in the field of tourism and hospitality businesses.

Contribute to the development of the Korean tourism industry by improving the employment rate of students, increasing the competitiveness of the department based on existing traditions and leadership, and cultivating human resources through the cultivation of international tourism practitioners with the international sensibility and on-the-ground experience necessary for the revitalization of the tourism industry and for companies expanding overseas.

Introducing Our Department's Distinctive Programs

Distinctive Program

  • Standard on-site training Semester-long and summer/winter industry-university trainingDuring regular semesters and vacation periods, students will receive practical training in room service, food and beverage service, and culinary departments of domestic and international hotels to grasp overall hotel operations, provide introductory service education, etc., and to develop on-the-job skills in the hotel industry.
  • Employment Circle ActivitiesWe run an employment circle for employment in the field of tourism and airline flight attendants. Hotel? The circle holds job fairs and special lectures for CEOs in the tourism and aviation fields, and prepares for employment through activities such as confirming the qualification requirements for each field and sharing information on preparation for employment through circle meetings.
