Introducing our department.
Political Diplomacy is the study of power criticism and at the same time the study of social management. The vision and goal of the department is to cultivate the basic theories to analyze political phenomena and the subjective values to interpret them.
The Department also provides students with the knowledge to survive in a diverse international environment, in the process of adjusting to conflicts, and in the face of intense multilateral competition.
Finally, the course promotes a historical understanding of the values of freedom and peace, which are the basic qualities of a democracy, and fosters a sense of responsibility and philanthropy as moral values for the prosperity of the community.
Educational Goals
Political Diplomacy is the study of power criticism and at the same time the study of social management. In line with these characteristics, the goal of Political Diplomacy is to educate students to have a keen analytical ability, accurate judgment, and dispassionate criticism of politics and society. Furthermore, it aims to cultivate specialized and practical knowledge of real-life politics and policies, and to train professionals who can play an active role in the real political sphere.

Policy Proposal Contest1st semester of senior year
National Model United Nations Conference for University Students
- Policy Proposal Contest (1st semester of senior year) We have time for students to explore and present their various political opinions on specific matters, such as youth, housing, etc.
- National Model United Nations Conference for University Students Every year from June to July, university students affiliated with the Department of Political Science and Diplomacy from around the country participate in a mock United Nations conference, where they can meet actual embassy officials and experience how a UN conference is conducted.

Stepping-StoneConnecting people to people! Stepping-Stone is a political research and discussion society circle that started in 1999 in the Department of Political Science and Diplomacy at Dong-A University. We hold monthly discussion and study activities on social issues and conduct studies with other university students in the region during the school term. In addition, we participate in public exhibitions for policy proposals, social problem solving, etc. Our activities focus on goals such as building a university student community, self-development, improving problem-solving skills, and cultivating humanistic thinking skills.

ZeusThis is a soccer club within the department. We hope to help alumni strengthen the bonds between peers, seniors, and juniors not only academically, but also by playing directly outdoors.
