Dept. of Japanese Studies

Introducing our department.

The Department of Japanese Studies aims to cultivate working professionals who can systematically and comprehensively understand the Japanese region by providing students with advanced Japanese language skills through a rich curriculum covering Japanese political economy, social culture, history and thought.

In addition, we are promoting active exchanges with Japan in various ways, including exchange students, Japanese Ministry of Education scholars, and visits to Japanese universities.

Educational Goals
  • Maximizing employment through academic management, one-semester study abroad in Japan, and various career paths to produce 21st century Japanese regional experts
  • Rather than fostering theoretical researchers, we produce talented students with a wide range of practical knowledge of Japanese regions.
