Introducing our department.

In 2021, the Department of Computer Science and AI Engineering has been expanded and reorganized to create the Department of AI. Department of Artificial Intelligence aims to cultivate professionals who will lead the cutting-edge AI technology fields of Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Data Science (Knowledge graphs & Recommender systems), Reinforcement Learning, and Digital Twin.

Educational Goals

Based on the characteristics of Dong-A University and the educational innovation development plan, and in accordance with the founding philosophy of Dong-A University and the educational goals of the College of Engineering, the purpose of the Department of Artificial Intelligence is to cultivate experiential, experiential, and empirical expertise to analyze, design, and develop artificial intelligence processing systems based on the understanding of computer systems, probability statistics, and data science, and to foster human-respecting artificial intelligence technology experts with creative and global capabilities.

    MLPHello! This is MLP, an academic club in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Dong-A University. In MLP, we study languages such as Python and C, as well as artificial intelligence such as machine learning and deep learning. In collaboration with the game club, we are also studying game reinforcement learning.

What Kind of Students Does Our Department Want?

Our department dreams of the following our values in order to keep pace with the rapidly changing artificial intelligence technology.

  • Technical competence : Students should have a deep understanding of core AI fields such as machine learning, deep learning, big data, natural language processing, and computer vision. In addition, they must have the mathematical skills necessary for programming languages and data analysis.
  • Computational Thinking : You need to be a creative thinker with the flexibility to respond to change. This is crucial for solving new problems or directly improving existing methods.
