Introducing our department.

The Department of Finance, established in March 2005, responds to rapid changes in the financial environment by educating students not only in the theory and in-depth knowledge necessary for financial professionals based on a basic understanding of finance in general, but also in the practical knowledge that can be applied in the real world, in order to foster individuals with the core skills to lead the financial market. The program is designed to develop individuals with the core competencies to lead the financial market.

Educational Goals

In addition to general economic theory, the program aims to cultivate investment and risk management theory for cash financial markets such as stocks, bonds, and foreign exchange, and derivative financial instruments such as futures, options, and swaps, as well as financial expertise in real finance, and to lead the financial industry in Korea as a professional financier.
